Warriors Mural at Cesar E. Chavez

Middle School

Mural facilitated by Irene O'Conell and  Emma Garcia with 8th graders in 2013. The project was ponsored by Mariposa Arts Council. The mural features iconic images of notable figures such as Emiliano Zapata, Pancho Villa, Subcomandante Marcos, Dolores Huerta, and Cesar Chavez, Aztec warriors, and college graduates.The mural also pays homage to the regional strawberry farm workers.
