Jaime Sanchez was born in Watsonville, California. He is the son of migrants from Mexico. Jaime enlisted in the Marine Corps and served four years and during this time he began to practice making art daily. After the military he studied visual and public art at CSUMB. Jaime has been an educator and practitioner of public art in the Monterey Bay area since 2005. His goal is to make a positive difference in the world by using art to remove destructive thinking and replace it with the language of justice.
