Murals at Pajaro Valley Highschool

This mural was painted and designed by Jaime Sanchez with assistance from Paul DeWorken in 2008. These murals were part of Jaime's community service project to finish his BA at Cal State Monteray Bay.

Not pictured, a mural done by a former student, Carlos Mesa, was sadly removed.  It featured a the school mascot, a grizzly bear that said "Grizzly Pride"  in old english style lettering. Some parents thought the lettering style was too graffiti like. "Perhaps the graph style mural could have involved more youth to get involved with mural making rather than tagging," reflected one community member.
