The Triumph of the Victory of Balance Between People

Contrary to the news press and various media reports, this mural is dedicated to the people of Watsonville. The imagery was influenced by the Guernica painted by Pablo Picasso. Designed by Jaime Sanchez and painted with Paul De Worken this mural is currently at the Watsonville Art wall, a 3,750 square foot wall facing the downtown plaza, that will rotate murals every so often. This project was self financed by the artists and with community collaborators: A Tool Shed, Ace, King’s Paint, Brunetti Properties. The murals intention is to promote peace.
